Admissions Process
Students who enrol at Oak Hill have been previously identified with reading/writing (dyslexia), maths and/or attention deficit challenges by their school or via another professional (e.g., a psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, etc.).
Our students often show they have challenges in reading, organisation of written language, spelling, mathematics, focus, organisation and/or completing homework (or any combination of these issues). Therefore, once a student is accepted in our programme, they are explicitly taught specific skills and strategies to help them progress.
Upon receiving your enquiry, if we feel that our programme can meet your child’s needs, we will invite you to come in and observe a lesson to see the learning in action, whether by private appointment or by joining an Open House event. The next step is to submit application forms for our review. This is followed by an in-class observation by our Head Teacher at your child’s current school before a place can be offered at Oak Hill and registration confirmed.
Fees
Our daily half-day programme consists of 3 x 50-minute individualised lessons in reading, writing and maths, with a maximum 4:1 student-to- teacher ratio in each class. The annual fees are 29,050 CHF and are pro-rated to the week that the student starts school. There is also a one-time registration fee of 500 CHF.
