Head’s Welcome

Head's Welcome

Welcome to the Oak Hill programme, for students between 7-13 years of age with reading/writing (dyslexia), maths and/or ADHD challenges. We are delighted to invite you to learn more about how our well-qualified and dedicated staff support children on the road to reading success, increased number skills and writing proficiency.

Uniquely, we are the only European replication of the Hill Learning Centre in North Carolina, and we are very proud of our achievements over the past 17 years. Our individualised and research-based programme increases students’ confidence and helps them develop the skills they need to succeed academically, as well as socially and emotionally.

At Oak Hill we know that a learning difference need not hinder a child from achieving his or her potential. Therefore, the goal of our programme is to ensure that every Oak Hill student reads with confidence, writes with purpose, and manipulates numbers with understanding – achieving their capacity. We see that Oak Hill truly makes a difference in the lives of our students and their families.

The Oak Hill staff and I are very proud to be part of such an exceptional programme. Every day, we see energetic and happy children reaching their goals, step by step, at their own individual pace. Daily, our staff carefully track the progress that takes place, altering tasks accordingly, enabling students to achieve their very best. Standardised testing also confirms the progress individuals make on their journey as an Oakhillian.

We look forward to hearing from you very soon.
